Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana fresh or frozen for extra thickness
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
  • 1 scoop protein powder approx. 25-30g protein, whey or plant-based
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt optional, for extra protein and creaminess
  • 1 cup liquid base unsweetened almond milk, dairy milk, water, etc.
  • Optional Add-ins: 1 tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds for fiber/omega-3s, handful of spinach (for hidden greens), 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.

Instructions
 

  • Load the Blender: Add the liquid base to the blender first. This helps the blades move more easily.
  • Add Soft Ingredients: Add the banana and Greek yogurt (if using).
  • Add Frozen Fruit & Protein: Add the frozen mixed berries and the scoop of protein powder.
  • Include Add-ins (Optional): Toss in any optional ingredients like chia seeds or spinach.
  • Blend: Secure the lid and blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, or until completely smooth and creamy. If it's too thick, add a splash more liquid; if too thin, add a few more frozen berries or a couple of ice cubes.
